3rd Chemo Treatment Postponed

well I was supposed to get my 3rd treatment last Tuesday 12/26/23 but had to postpone for a week. I caught strep throat the previous week and was still on antibiotics and my white blood cell counts were on the low end of normal. My oncologist wanted to make sure my infection doesn’t reoccur and didn’t want to give me chemo with my count being low, so my 3rd treatment is scheduled for 1/2/24. Prayers my body rebounds and heals so I can get my 3rd treatment behind me. I was very disappointed we had to postpone but grateful my doctor is being careful with my health.
